Wood – the material of the 21st century

“Anniversary conference Wood – the material of the 21st century – 80 years of Wood Technology”

Purpose and significance of the conference: The main objective of the event is to present the latest trends and innovations in the development of scientific research in the broadly defined field of woodworking, particularly woodworking, processing, architectural applications, and ecological applications. It also summarizes and presents key research achievements and the evolution of the “Wood Technology” field over the last 80 years. The impact of wood technology on the development of forestry sciences, the woodworking industry, and related industries in Poland will be presented, with a focus on an innovative economy based on sustainable development. The conference provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices, which is crucial for the development of the woodworking industry and the promotion of wood as an ecological and renewable raw material.
